WHY HAVING A WEBSITE IS IMPORTANT

A strong website builds credibility, supports your marketing, and helps customers choose your business.

Why your business needs a website

Customers often look at a website before they call, visit, or buy. A useful site confirms that the business is real, explains what it offers, and gives people a reliable next step.

Build credibility. Your website is a place to present accurate services, current contact information, real work, and approved customer feedback in your own words.

Answer common questions. Hours, coverage, pricing approach, appointment details, policies, and preparation instructions can save time for both the customer and your team.

Support referrals. Even when business comes through word of mouth, people may check the site before reaching out. Clear information makes that recommendation easier to act on.

Create a home for marketing. Search, social media, email, print, and advertising work better when they can point to a page built for the customer’s question. You control that page in a way you do not control a social platform.

Learn what needs improvement. Search Console and responsibly configured analytics can show which pages receive attention and where visitors enter the site. Useful measurement supports decisions, but it does not guarantee sales.

Start with what you need. A business does not always need a large website. Begin with complete, accurate pages that explain the offer and make contact easy, then add content when there is a real customer or business reason.

If your current site is outdated—or you still need a first site—review our website design services and recent work.

Websites have become essential for any business today. If you haven't created one yet, we strongly recommend you do so. Remember, you can improve your website over time, but the key is to start.

Five-star customer rating
The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden is a small nonprofit organization and as such, we must take great care in the selection of our business partners. In a world where technology dominates almost every aspect of our lives, having a website that was both informative and user-friendly was essential for the garden's success. When a (now former) employee suggested we hire a certain web designer, we carelessly jumped at the opportunity. Little did we know that this decision would cost us dearly. We had enlisted the help of a seemingly competent but ultimately fraudulent web developer, who left us with a mess of a site and a slew of technical issues that were beyond our expertise. It was no surprise that the board of directors was hesitant to entrust such an important task to yet another outsider, but I had faith in Les as he had helped me develop a website for my personal business. As a seasoned web developer with a heart for nonprofit organizations, Les was the perfect partner for us. He listened patiently to our concerns, assessed the damage, and quickly got to work untangling the knots that our previous developer had left behind. Watching Les work was like witnessing a master artist at work. His attention to detail was unmatched, and his ability to problem-solve in real-time was a true marvel. Before we knew it, our website was not only functioning properly, but it had also undergone a stunning transformation. With Les's help, we had a website that was as beautiful and as vibrant as the garden it represented. But it didn't stop there. Les's ongoing support and maintenance has been invaluable, ensuring that it continues to function at the highest level. His professionalism, technical expertise, and genuine care for our organization have made him a cherished partner of ours. In short, we couldn't be happier with our partnership with MyBizWebGuy, and we highly recommend Les and his team to any organization in need of top-notch web design and support services. Thank you, Les, for your exceptional work and dedication to our cause!
