Your BizWeb Guy respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website may collect, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information You Provide
When you contact us, request a Zoom meeting, request a website SEO score, or subscribe to marketing updates, you may provide information such as your name, business name, city, ZIP code, email address, phone number, website address, and the details included in your message.
Information Collected Automatically
The website and its service providers may collect limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the site. This can include browser and device information, referring pages, pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interactions with the website.

Service Providers
Information may be processed by trusted providers that support website hosting, email and newsletter delivery, analytics, form processing, spam prevention, and security. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services. We do not sell personal information.
Data Retention and Security
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain business records, or to meet legal obligations. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
YBW Connect and Google account data
When you authorize YBW Connect for YBW SEO Optimizer, we receive your Google account identifier and email address to identify the account you chose. We access the Search Console and Google Analytics property information needed for selection, the reports for the properties assigned to your website, and the authorization credentials needed to retrieve those reports. Google account passwords are not provided to us.
We use this access to provide the connection, website performance reports, scheduled report refreshes, and administrator-requested sitemap submission. Google Analytics access is read-only. Search Console's view-and-manage permission is used for reporting and sitemap submission; our gateway permits sitemap submission only in response to an explicit administrator action.
The gateway runs on Google Cloud. Google authorization credentials are encrypted before database storage and are not sent to client websites. Each enrolled website receives its own limited gateway connection, assigned property details, and requested report results. Reports saved by the plugin are stored on that website and may be accessible to its authorized administrators and hosting providers. Security and service providers process information as needed to operate and protect the connection.
One Google authorization may support several websites. Disconnecting one website removes that website's gateway connection but does not revoke a shared Google authorization or disconnect other websites. Previously saved reports remain on the website until removed there. To revoke Google authorization for all connected websites, use your Google Account's third-party connections controls. To request deletion of information held by YBW Connect, contact info@yourbizwebguy.com. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not itself erase previously saved records.
We retain account authorization records while needed for connected services or until removed following a verified deletion request. Account-wide removal deletes credentials, email and dependent website grants/sessions. A hashed account identifier with deletion/security metadata is retained to block an in-progress sign-in or refresh from restoring removed credentials; it contains no Google token or email. Later explicit authorization can create a new connection but does not restore old website grants. Temporary sign-in records expire automatically and database cleanup is asynchronous.
Managed database backups are scheduled daily and retained for up to 14 days. Deletion from the active database does not immediately remove an older backup. Backup copies expire under that retention schedule. During disaster recovery, restored access remains disabled until current deletion records and site assignments have been reconciled. If current deletion records cannot be verified, restored Google credentials and grants are removed and fresh authorization is required.
Google data is used for the user-facing connection and reporting features described here, not sold or used for advertising. Human access is limited to information you explicitly authorize us to review for support, necessary security investigations, or legal requirements consistent with Google's policies. Your BizWeb Guy's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
YBW Google Reviews and Google Business Profile data
When an authorized business owner or manager connects YBW Google Reviews, the plugin accesses the account and location identifiers needed to select the business and retrieve its public reviews, including ratings, reviewer names and photos, review text, dates and existing owner replies. Google requires the business.manage permission, whose consent description includes managing business listings. This plugin uses that authorization to retrieve reviews; it does not automatically change listings or post replies.
Authorization credentials are encrypted using the connected WordPress installation’s authentication keys and stored on that website. Authorized administrators and hosting providers may access the website and its stored information. In the current direct-only plugin, synchronized Business Profile review content and source rating/count summaries have a maximum 28-day lifetime from retrieval and are excluded from display after expiry. Cleanup execution and backup handling are separate website responsibilities. Successful disconnection removes the saved authorization and temporary Business Profile review content. If Google cannot confirm revocation, retrieval and display stay stopped while the incomplete disconnection awaits retry. Independently managed website testimonials remain until removed by the website administrator.
We use Google data for the requested review-display and management features, not for sale or advertising. Publication and support access follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. To request help, disconnection or deletion, contact info@yourbizwebguy.com. Any retained website backups follow the website’s own backup schedule and do not disappear immediately when active records are removed.
Former shared YBW Google Reviews pilot — retired
The owner-only shared Reviews pilot was retired on October 16, 2026. Its active shared authorizations, website enrollments, location assignments and dedicated service database were removed, and the shared Reviews gateway was shut down. Current direct Reviews connections operate on their respective WordPress websites, as described above. This retirement does not affect the separate YBW Connect service used by YBW SEO Optimizer.
Historical website or provider backups, security logs and platform recovery copies may remain under their separate retention and deletion processes. Removing active service records does not mean every historical copy was erased immediately. We do not sell Google data, use it for advertising or use it to train general AI models. Any retained Google data remains subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Your Choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.
Children's Privacy
This website and its services are intended for businesses and adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
